Review and Export Talk Analytics
Review the Talk Analytics page for insights into how engaged users are with user- and admin-generated content, posts, apps, announcements, and other communications. Behavioral details show engagement levels and trends and help you understand if your posts are engaging and resonating with users. Pie, bar, and line charts and tables help illustrate engagement over days, weeks, and months.

Export Analytics reports
Administrators with the View Analytics permissions can export analytics chart data to an .xlsx file and download the .xlsx file to their system. Reports include chart data based on the current filter criteria and time range.
- Chart exports include all the data visible in the charts at the time of export. For example, if you configure the page to show Weekly chart details for a particular group, this filter criteria is applied to the export.
- Each exported chart is represented in the .xlsx file as a separate sheet named for the chart.
- Exported file names are unique and include the date, hour, and second the file was exported.
Note the following guidelines:
- The ten most recent exports are always available. The next time you run an export, the oldest file in the list is removed. (The list of exported files also includes any user response exports for Events, Announcements, Polls, and Promoted Posts.)
- You export one report or responseat a time. The export takes a few minutes depending on how much data is in the charts. The Export Report button is unavailable while an export is in progress. You can cancel an active export before it finishes.
- After the export finishes, download the file at any time. Each .xlsx file is downloaded in a compressed file which you extract to your system. As long as the export file is available in the list of exported files, it is available to download. You can download a single file multiple times.
- To export individual Admin Post Performance charts, click a post type (for example, Recognition, Event, Announcement, and so on) to open the chart details, then click Export Report.
- The status of exports and downloads displays at the top of the interface. This allows you to monitor exports from any page in the Admin Dashboard.
- Only chart data for the past six months is available to export. Data older than six months is no longer available.
- Admin users can export up to 30 reports a day.
