Schedule group data access profiles

Schedule Groups Assembles employees who share schedules or any other work characteristics. gather employees that share characteristics such as schedules, into groups that make their schedules easier to manage.

A Schedule Group data access profile assigned to a manager permits that manager to use one or many groups when working with schedules.

  1. From Administration > Application Setup > Access Profiles > Data Access Profiles, select Schedule Group.
  2. In the Schedule Group Data Access Profiles workspace, click New or select a schedule group data access profile and click Edit or Duplicate.
  3. If new, give the data access profile a name and description.
  4. Select the schedule group or groups from the Available Schedule Groups box and move them to the Selected Schedule Groups box.
  5. Click Save & Return.

You assign Schedule Group data access profiles to managers in People Information. (From the Main Menu, go to Maintenance > People Information, select a manager, expand Scheduling > Manager Role-Scheduler, and select a Schedule Group Profile from the drop-down list.)
